Rain, Rain

I absolutely love the rain! It is the greatest thing to walk outside and feel the rain. It changes everything for me. The rain really helps me to forget about the darkness and depressiveness of fall. No time to tell you all of my latest successes and failures but needless to say, the rain is here.

Stale Blogs, Struggling With Change

Well it's far too obvious that I have let my blog become stale. I hope to put more of my thoughts into print where time allows. Much has happened in my life since the last post. As some of you may know I have always had an interest in web development. Now I have pushed myself quite into it at work, and have taken on the task of creating a web back and front-end for order tracking throughout our company production. This was my first design of a normalized MySQL database and my first real design of interactive PHP pages in conjunction with that database. I have learned alot in the last few months and am so excited about the future of more development and implementation. Unfortunately some events here lately have taken my attentions away from that which I long to be doing, namely continually learning and challenging myself. I know this project has really secured itself as MY project and that is really great. Hopefully I will get time to work on it as the months progress and as my changing team coalesces.

Getting Organized

Today I've started pulling down all the wall decor in my office and
getting ready to set up a temporary office in our upstairs conference
room. The purchasing department is getting remodeled! It's about
time! We've got three guys crammed into a 12x12 cube (not very
comfortable) But our new digs should gain us a little more space and
comfortability. Since we've been so busy lately it has been really hard
to stay organized. Now with this move we will be forced to throw out
everything we don't absolutely need. I think it's great!

New Domains

Last weekend I took advantage of the free .be addresses being given away that were mentioned on digg.com. You are talking to the proud owner of brainpro.be. Guess now I have to come up with some good content (the hard part), and a killer design (the fun part). I had better get busy!

Another Wednesday

Here it is another Wednesday. I have been feeling a loss of creative juices lately. I'm hoping that I can get on the right track soon. My
review at work is coming up and I hope that I can impress. You know how it is. I've been learning more about irc recently. I kind of been behind in my technological know how as far as chatting goes, but it sure doesn't take long to discover some real gems! G'day
